ART & SCULPTURE

KABER creates unique, one-off sculptures and artworks in collaboration with artists and designers. We work from drawings, 2D references, or small-scale maquettes which we can either 3D laser scan or develop designs through artistic and digital modelling.

Our engineering team designs bespoke tooling and manufacturing processes tailored to each artwork’s technical and aesthetic requirements. While our primary medium is lightweight expanded polystyrene, we also fabricate in plywood, Alumabond, urethane, hardwood timbers, and a wide range of specialist materials.

We have collaborated with leading artists to produce award-winning sculptures exceeding five meters in height.

KABER has delivered works for some of Australia’s most prominent contemporary art galleries, large-scale public art installations, private collections, and community and government initiatives.

In addition to traditional artwork, KABER also works closely with creative and production teams to fabricate all sizes and types of props and body doubles for the film and production industry. We utilise our experience with 3D laser scanning technology to work from actor scans to produce human body models. Our fabrication work has found its way onto both the big and small screen.
